He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Coons and Elizabeth Coons (Smith); and his sisters, Mildred White, Lillian Reed and Shirley Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Therese Coons (Fahey); his children, Robert, Kenneth Coons and Kathleen Hepfinger (David); his grandchildren, Amanda Hepfinger, Kasie Batty (Ross), Jacob Hepfinger, Krista, Kyle, Jeremy Coons and Rebecca Dail; and his sister Phyllis Kearbey. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
