Judith E. Buono Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith E. Buono of North Greenbush, New York, born in Albany, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Margaret (Smith) and Richard P. Hughes, Sr.; her siblings, Richard P. Hughes, Jr. and Patricia Hughes Love; and her daughter-in-law Yun Kyong Buono (Stephen).
She is survived by: her husband Stephen P. Buono, Jr.; her sons, Stephen P. Buono, III, Michael R. Buono (Heidi) and Gregory D. Buono (Lana); her grandchildren, Daniel, Judy, Patrick (Jordan), Zachary (Chrissy), Leah and Liberty; and her cousins, Margaret Mary Schroll and Madeline Garrigan.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Church (54 Herrick St, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
