Burns Sr. of North Greenbush, New York, who passed away at the age of 85, on April 11, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Burns and Margaret Burns (Ryan); his wife Eileen Ryan Kirker Burns; his sister Ellen Burns Lyman; and his stepson Christopher Kirker (Janice).
He is survived by: his children, Colleen Burns, John Burns, Jr. (Deb), Erin Burns (Michaelle), Patricia Burns-Zelenke (Kirk) and Daniel Burns; his stepchildren, Sean Kirker (late Barbara) and Eileen Kirker; and his brother Joseph Burns. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (391 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12209). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send memorial contributions to Van Rensselaer Manor, 85 Bloomingrove Dr., B-1 Unit, Activities Fund on Behalf of John Burns, Troy, NY 12180.
