He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Blasz and Irene Blasz; and his brothers, Donald and Paul Blasz. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph and Jason Blasz (Jen Wright); his grandchildren, Madison and Dezarae Blasz; and his brothers, Fred (late Chris) and Phil Blasz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to the Eden American Legion Post #880, Eden NY.
