He is survived by: his wife Sharon Eckert; his daughters, Barbara Cosgrove (James) and Sandra Eckert (Dan Borchert); his grandchildren, Marissa Wood (Tryston Reisinger), Jennifer Cosgrove, Amanda Wood and Kelly Cosgrove; and his brother Charles Eckert (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
