He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert C. Sweet and Gladys Dickinson Sweet; his wife Jacqueline Austin; his children, Matthew Sweet (Laura) of Clayton, NC., Mark Robert Sweet of Wellsville and Carrie Lynn Perez (Robert) of Santa Clarita, CA.; his grandchildren, Cory C. Sweet, Nathan C. Sweet, Kendall Hathaway, Lacey Green and Luke Green; his sister Kathryn Moyer (Roger) of Wellsville; his mother-in-law Joanne Austin of Medina; his sister-in-law Debra Tompkins (Christopher) of Medina; and his close friends, Tom Slavin, Belinda and Robert Butts. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery on Thursday October 24, at 10 am and memorials may be made to the Wellsville Fire Department, the Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance Corps or to the Hart House.
