He was predeceased by: his siblings, Margaret Hall (Doyle) and Roy Hornberger. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Hornberger; his children, Donald (Cathy), Gerald Hornberger (Carol), Carrie Peterson (John) and Valentine Hornberger (Tammy); his foster daughter Roxanne Benn; his grandchildren, Donald (Renea Rodgers Fiorella), Nicholas Hornberger (Jessica), Katie Schuler (Tim), John (Amy), Matthew Peterson (Julie), Heather and Christopher Hornberger; his great grandchildren, James, Thomas and Charlie; and his siblings, Mary Petak (late Chester), Paul and Douglas Hornberger (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
