He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Matthew C. Helt and Geraldine Griffing Helt; his wife Gloria Fitzgerald; his daughter Gina Helt of Connecticut; and his siblings, Julie Stapleton (Thomas) of North Bay, Christopher and Phillip Helt.
