He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Dixon and Ella Shanley Dixon; and his siblings, Margaret Dixon, Mary Christopher, Nicholas and Bernard Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Hyland; and his children, Mary Ellen Dixon of Yorktown, VA, Cindy (Rob Voelker), Theresa (Rudy Sanchez), Elaine Dixon (Steve Richards), Susan (Mike Donaghue), Mike (Darlene Dixon), Charles 'Chip' (Wende Dixon), Rick (Stephanie Dixon) and Vienna. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 17 great grand-children, one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the North Bay Vol.
