He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Johnston (Stub) and Shirley Johnston (DeLosh); and his wife Laurie J. Rheaume. He is survived by: his children, James (Lisa), Todd (Megan), Benjamin (Talitha) and Amanda; his son-in-law Matthew Parham of Buffalo, NY; and his siblings, Gary (Karen Johnston), Danny (Beverly Johnston), Diane (Bradley Childs) and Sue (Vernon Tourtellotte). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donations may be made in Jay's memory to the North Bangor Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
