He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Freeman Nichols and Joyce Marie Holland; and his siblings, Joyce Ashline, Joan Paul and Robert Fiero.
He is survived by: his friends, Robbie, Jimmy, Kenny and Dennis; his uncle Eddy (Dick); his wife Bertha Nichols; his daughters, Mary Jane Manning of Chateaugay, NY and Amy Nichols Leandro (Pete) of Trout River, NY; his grandchildren, Marissa Jane Manning, Sylvia Marie Leandro, Tyler Charles Manning and Stephanie Ann Leandro; his adoptive daughter Tina Ann Ashline; his brother-in-law Dave Ashline; and his brother Nathan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
