He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reginald D. Tyo and Aletha Tyo (Hawkins); his wife Margaret Cook; his stepchildren, Travis Phillips (Kristen) and Tina Phillips (Carolynne); his grandchildren, Skyler Cree, Nathan Cree, Jaxson and Evelyn Phillips; and his siblings, Judy, Jimmy Durant, Thomas, Donna Tyo, Gary and Reginald. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Helena Fire Department or the Parkinsons Association.
