He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gaffney and Jean McLean Gaffney; and his siblings, Jane Bradley of Margate, NJ, Anne Gardner of Philadelphia, Frank Gaffney of Philadelphia and Rev. Harry P. Gaffney of Philadelphia.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Gaffney (Karutis); his son Nicholas (Emma Wunsch); his granddaughters, Georgia of Lebanon, NH and Dahlia of Lebanon, NH; his daughter Maria of Hovland, MN; his brother Michael K. Gaffney (Janet); his sister-in-law Nancy Gaffney of Huntingdon Valley, PA.; and his daughter-in-law Emma Wunsch.
