He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kennedy and Cathal Kennedy; and also Cathal Kennedy (Halloran). He is survived by: his wife Dr. M. Katherine Kennedy (Kotansky); his siblings, Michael Kennedy, Daniel Kennedy and Shawn Cribari; his children, Steven Kennedy (Rozlyn Mattox), Keegan Kennedy and Brian Kennedy (Jessica Jimenez); and his grandson Noah Kennedy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home (149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Niskayuna Reformed Church (3041 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Niskayuna, NY 12309). A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205).
