He is survived by: his parents, Arul John and Ezhil Arul; his grandparents, S. Rajamanickam, R. Sulochana and Rajam John; his sister Jessica Arul; and his aunts and uncles, Seldvi Suba, Rani Samuel, Anbumalar, Axalantha, Heleninba, Anita Amudhan, Subakumar John, Samuel John, Inbavannanra Rajamanickam and Arulamudhan Rajamanickam. He is also survived by fourteen cousins.
