He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Schrom and Elnora Schrom (Nocian); his brothers, Mark and Wayne Schrom; and his mother-in-law Jane Nicolella.
He is survived by: his wife Madge Schrom; his father-in-law Joseph Nicolella; his sisters-in-law, Diane Guendel and Kristine Croce; and his nieces and nephews, Collette Croce, Erin Croce, Louis Croce and Hanna Jane Guendel.
