He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Burton, Evelyn Merrick, Fred and Dorothy Jensen; and his aunt Sandy Ramsey.

He is survived by: his children, Dallas Sweeney and Zepplin Jensen; his parents, Gordon Merrick and Cheryl Jensen of Lisbon; his siblings, Gordon Merrick III, Lucas Merrick (Jodie), Derrick Merrick, Torrey Merrick (Mackenzie Simmons), Leslie Merrick, Cambray Dunkelburg (Kyle) and Shaylyn Merrick (Josh Streeter); and his aunts and uncles, Dale Jensen, Alan Jensen (Gale), Fred Jensen (Donna), Billy Merrick, Scott Ramsey, Randy Merrick, Dawn Jensen, Bonnie Ling, Maryann Richards, Tammie and Bill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
