He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyon Foster and Helen Foster (Sustschenko). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Foster; his children, Lynelle, Ralph LaPage of Dickinson Center and James Joseph Foster (Rebecca Bresee) of St. Regis Falls; his grandson Hunter James Brown; and his siblings, Maryanne (Dick Holmes) of Oswego, Daniel (Kay Foster) of Oswego, Mitchell (Joyce Foster) of Oswego, Jeanne Hunt of Oswego and Julie Foster (Catherine Ashley) of Oswego.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the American Legion Post #322.
