He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Durgan and Mary Durgan (Spellan). He is survived by: his brother Howard; his sister-in-law Lee Durgan, Jr. of Nicholville; his nephews, Dan Durgan of Johnson City and Don Durgan of Brasher Falls; and his uncle Frank Durgan.
