With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Miles Keene of Nichols, New York, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 8, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Keene and Susie Keene; his wife Lois Luckner Keene; his son Stephen Keene; his siblings, Shirley Millard, Gerald and Edward Keene; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Birney, Maurice Fay, Robert Millage and Clifford Millard.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Keene of Johnson City and James Keene (Linda) of Arlington, TX; his daughter-in-law Renee Keene of Charlotte, NC.; his sisters, Elizabeth Birney, Louise Fay of Waverly and Lois Hill (Fred) of Barton; his sister-in-law Mary Keene of Waverly; his grandchildren, Jonathan Couchman (Sarah), Cristopher Couchman (Sara), Stacy Gross (Albert), Kelly Keene and Brandon Keene (Kimberly); and his close friends, Barb and Bill Wolfe. He is also survived by seven great grandsons, numerous nieces and nephews.
