He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, LeRoy Westervelt and Mildred Westervelt; and his siblings, Dean, Bill, Jack and Doris.

He is survived by: his children, Brenda Georgi (Bruce), Carol Hall (Roy), Mary Klase (David) and Norm Westervelt (Jeni). He is also survived by His 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren join their parents in missing their papa.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tioga County Rural Ministries, 143 North Avenue, Owego, NY 13827, in loving memory of Norman.
