She was predeceased by: her father John Grandeo; and her husband Donald DeWitt. She is survived by: her children, Robin James and Rick; her daughters-in-law, Deneen James and Betsy James; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Doug, Kristen, Angela, Kristofer, Jamie, Richard, Connor, Alexis, Brandi and Brian; her siblings, R. Arlene Snyder and John; and her sister-in-law Linda Grandeo. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
