Gladys V. Cobb Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2025, at the age of 104, Gladys V. Cobb (Nichols, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maisie Allis (Lent) and Leon Allis Sr.; her husband Cecil A. Cobb; her son Cedric Cobb; her son-in-law Robert Laman; and her siblings, Leon Allis, Robert Allis, Carol Harford, Albert Baldwin and Donna Doane.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Michelle; her daughters, Sharon Soos (Donald), Kay W. Laman and Linda Cobb; her brother Harold Allis; and her siblings-in-law, Alice Allis and Ethan "Sonny" Doane. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel (273 Main St, Nichols, NY 13812). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
