It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald W. Howell (Nichols, New York), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on May 8, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Howell and Lois Howell; and his siblings, Gerald "Jerry" Howell and Barbara Meyers. He is survived by: his wife Emma Jean "Jean" McCabe; his children, Karen Lois (Bill McLaren), Dale Edward (Beth) and Donna Rolls (Ross); his grandchildren, Gina Holmes (Bill) and Abbey Clark (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Jakob, Andrew, Ella, Jackson, Brendan, Caroline and Isabella; and his sister June Rice.
On May 8, Donald Walter Howell, 93, of the Elderwood Nursing Facility in Waverly, and formerly of Nichols, succumbed to Covid-19 after a long period of declining mental and physical health.
