It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl L. Hakes (Nichols, New York), born in Harpursville, New York, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hakes and Vera Hakes (Warner); his wife Lorraine T. Neer; and his sister Christine Wage. He is survived by: his daughter Debra Stowell; his grandsons, Jeremiah (Jennifer Stowell) and David Stowell; his great grandchildren, Dylan and Jeremy; and his sister-in-law Geraldine Neer.
