He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Winkler and Irene Betty Winkler (Knowles); and his wife Toni Lynn Winkler (Hare). He is survived by: his children, Brian and Stephanie of Niagara Falls; his grandchildren, Aiden Gavin Keil, Richard Joseph LaPata III and Lexxus Gianna Winkler; and his great grandchild Valentino K. Winkler.
