He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Palfi and Julia Palfi (Bences); his wife Patricia A. Palfi (Marx); his daughter Deborah Farrington Baker; his stepson Rolland Shamrock (Marie J.); and his siblings, Mike, George, Christina, Theresa and Etta.
He is survived by: his son Donald Palfi (Maryann); and his stepchildren, Janet Pasisz (William), Star Stubbs (Thomas), Anna Matyevich (Robert), Mitchell Matyevich (Lisa), Stephen Matyevich (Amy) and Nicholas Matyevich.
A memorial donation may be made in his honor to the Butterfly Garden at Our Lady of Peace.
