He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hosie and Arlene Fahs (Steiner); his stepfathers, Kenneth Hosie and Henry Fahs; his son James Hosie; his grandchildren, Calin Hosie and David Rinker II; and his brother Kenneth Hosie.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Hosie (Paulette) and Jennifer Hosie; his grandchildren, Ciara Hicks (Nicholas) and Mitchell Rinker (Megan Gee); his great grandchild Zoey Jaymes Hicks; and his brother Joseph R. Hosie (Catherine). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home (2215 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Parish (St. Leo's Church) (2748 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304).
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice and/or Niagara Active Hose Volunteer Fire Company.
