He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Tarapczynski and Eleanor Tarapczynski (Jones); and his siblings, Hal, Sue, Joe, Tim and Mark Tarapczynski.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Tarapczynski (Clayton Brigham), Rick Tarapczynski, Jr., Jacqueline Janese (Brandon) and Julia Locher (Norman, Sr.); his great grandchild Easton; and his siblings, Mike Tarapczynski (late Patricia), Jim Tarapczynski (Carol), Gina Tarapczynski, Bob Tarapczynski and Bill Tarapczynski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
