He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Colangelo and Theresa C. Colangelo (Paul); and his sister-in-law Sharon Colangelo. He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Clark, Matthew Colangelo, Melissa Steen, Michele Szramka (Brett), Gabriel Colangelo, Alysyn Colangelo, Emma Colangelo, Bella Colangelo, Roman Colangelo and Maya Colangelo; his grandchildren, Daniel, Savannah, Nicholas, Katherine, Marisa, Joshua, Jessica and Jonathan; and his siblings, Kathleen Hadden (Mike), Virginia Harrington (Peter), Ron Colangelo (Linda), Connie Locey (David), Rosanne Colangelo and Debbie Carlin (Chris). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul was involved with numerous organizations within his community including serving on the Executive Board with NAACP, the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Niagara Falls Boys and Girls Club.
