It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Fortunate (Niagara Falls, New York), who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy P. Fortunate and Isabelle Fortunate (Montalbo); his brother Vito Fortunate; his father-in-law Stanley (Emily Gniazdowski); and his sister-in-law Cynthia Gniazdowski.
He is survived by: his wife Sophie Fortunate (Gniazdowski); his son Mark Fortunate (Shari Mastropierro); his siblings, Guy M. Fortunate (Anna) and Annmarie Marino (Thomas); his siblings-in-law, Stan Gniazdowski and Jeannine Fortunate; his close friend Gerry Senese; his goddaughter Elizabeth Bernardoni; and his nieces and nephews, Joelle, Jessica, Michael, Matthew, Elaina, Julia, Nick, Teresa and Anthony.
