She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Byham and Dorothy Byham (Shaw); her husband John A. Berds; her brothers, David and Scott Byham; and her nephew David Byham.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wendy L. Orr (Kirk), Lisa M. Mesler and Vicki L. Mesler; her stepdaughters, Barbara Barry (Norman) and Lori Berds (Chris); her grandchildren, Philip W. Mesler (Summer), Harold Healey, III (Katie), Steven Healey and Amanda Friskey (Chad); her stepgrandchildren, Stephen DePalma, III (Danielle), Jordan Anthony and Jack Anthony; her great grandchildren, Emma, Matthew, Elijah, Anastasia, Avery, Hannah and Alexander; and her stepgreat-grandson Stephen, IV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the St. James Methodist Church, Little Wonders Daycare at St. James Methodist Church, or to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr, Lockport, NY 14094.
