He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clare and Sarah J. Clare (Collins); his wife Georgina Simmie Clare (Grier); and his siblings, Sarah Jane Clare-Prater and William Clare (Linda).
He is survived by: his children, Leige J. Clare, Jr. (Tracy), David Clare (Donna) and Maureen Brooks (Rob); and his sister-in-law Linda Clare (late William). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
