He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Carella and Anna Carella (Ventry); and his brother Dennis Carella. He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Carella (Scimemi); his sons, Richard A. Carella, Gerard F. Carella (Christina Pierangelino) and Lawrence M. Carella (Debbie); his grandchildren, Courtney (Alex Weremblewski), Thomas and Benjamin (Becca Warner); and his siblings, Lucille Gasparro (late Angelo) and John Carella (Barbara). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
