It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen G. Florence of Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett P. Greene and Beatrice T. [Fennell] Greene; her husband Henry A. Florence; and her sister Susanne LeGasse (late Joseph). She is survived by: her children, William E. Florence, Mary Bea Cornelissen (Chris), Ann F. Blassic and Claire T. McNally (William); her grandchildren, Brenna, Alyssa, Tara, John Henry, Jeffrey, Shannon, Marissa and Katlyn (Brendan); and her siblings, Robert E. Greene (Charlotte), John F. Greene (Marilyn), Michael D. Greene (Bruce Fitting), Mary Agnes Justiana (Robert) and Cece Evert (late Edward). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Inc. (901 Cayuga St, Lewiston, NY 14092-1734). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael R. C. Church (3831 Macklem Ave, Niagara Falls, NY 14305).
Memorials may be made in her name to the Summit Outreach Center.
