She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie D. Carson and Dorothy Carson; and her sibling Willie Vincent Carson. She is survived by: her children, Arvell Lamond Carson and Bianca Kemelle Jones (Ulysses); her grandchildren, Deshauna Byrd, Kyshawn Carson, Demarcus Carson, Jordan Carson Kayden Carson and Ulysses Prince Jones; her siblings, Michael Carson (Karla), Rev. Joyce Scott (late Eddie Ray), Sarah Joan Carson, Rev. JoAnne Scott (Bishop Jesse J., Sr.), Janine Hill (Larry) and Lisa Pitt (Michael); her cousin Delphine Brown; and her siblings, Joseph Carson and Janice Carson. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
