Joseph Troisi Obituary
Joseph Troisi (June 29, 1988-May 7, 2024) died at home after a brief illness at the age of 35. He was the son of Andrea (Skivington) and Anthony Troisi of Niagara Falls, New York. Joseph was the grandson of the late Niagara County Legislator Doris Skivington and Howard Skivington. He was also the grandson of the late Phoebe and Anthony Troisi, Sr.. Joseph is survived by his uncle Howard (Pamela) Skivington and aunts Rebecca (Stephen) Kassay, Noreen Skivington , and Janis (Philip) Alterio. His godparents were Janis and Philip Alterio. He is also survived by his aunts Linda (Mark) Sawyer and MaryJo (Joel) Neri. Joseph is also survived by his cousins Jason (Lida) Sykes, Justin Sykes, Jessica (Thomas) O'Kell, Ashley Newbury, Michael Alterio, Brian (Danielle) Alterio, and Andrew Alterio, Lisa (John) Boag, Jacob (Samantha) Kassay, Kristin Szarban, Amber Skivington, Spencer Fortin, Seana Bouchard, Stacey Neri and Nicole Neri.
Joseph graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 2006. In 2008, he graduated from Niagara Community College with a Liberal Arts degree. In 2010, Joseph graduated from State University of New York Empire State College with a degree in Human and Community Services. He worked as a security guard at the Community Missions of Niagara Frontier. A stand-up comedian, Joseph appeared at other local comedy clubs. As an actor, Joseph appeared in "Star Wars: The Fallen Brother", "Class of Nuke'Em High", "Constant Angel", and "Worm Child".
Joseph was an animal lover and was a devoted owner of his cats Hazy and Lou. He enjoyed playing video games, watching movies and practicing martial arts. Joseph enjoyed spending time with his loving family.
Visitation Sunday from 4-7 in the Lane Funeral Home, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls, where prayers will be said Monday at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. John de LaSalle RC Church. The interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
