He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Currie II and Jason Currie; and his siblings, Christine Artis (Harry) of Colonial Heights, VA, Ruth Mae Rogers (late Curtis) of Burlington, N. C., Cornelia Rogers (late Benjamin) of Burlington, N. C., Martha Hodges (late Willie) of Temple Hills, Donnie Currie (Doris) of Niagara Falls, N. Y, Ronald Currie of Niagara Falls, N. Y. and Olivia Stanfield (Jimmy) of Gibsonville, N. C.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
