He is survived by: his father Jose Cota; his sons, Tommy Cota and Michael Cota (Cidalia); his grandsons, Michael Cota, Eric Cota and Andre Cota; and his siblings, George Cota (Leutina), Concisou Costa (Herculano) and Lucelina Cota. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
