He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Brixius and Henrietta Brixius (Cody); his wife Rosalie Brixius (Bruno); his son Bruce Brixius; and his sisters, Margaret Zinn (late Fred), Elizabeth Bonnette (late Samuel), Sarah Everts (late Floyd) and Marie Dembitsky.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine Brixius, Joyce McDonnell, John Brixius and James Brixius; his grandchildren, Crystal Zamito (Brian), Michael Pavlak (Lisa), Taryn Sovran (William), Shannon McDonnell, Patrick McDonnell, Sofia Brixius and Jack Brixius; and his great grandchildren, Annabella, Max, Bryce, Cecelia, Camille and Henry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
