He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Barr and Helen Barr (Gregus); his granddaughter Shannon Peters; and his siblings, Virginia, Marie, Donald, Kenny and Gerald.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Barr (Snyder); his children, Sherry Peters, John Barr and Jeff Barr (Sibel); his granddaughters, Alexandra Pearson (Matthew), Leah Leahy (Michael) and Olivia Barr; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Wade Pearson and Riley Leahy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
