He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony D. "Tony" Gara and Dorothy M. Gara (Wojtowicz). He is survived by: his wife Suzie Gara (Fravel); his children, Breanna Flaherty (Sean) and JD Gara; his stepchildren, Rebecca Sole and Jeff Donohue (Laurin); his grandchildren, Calan and Zayden; and his siblings, Susan Petrozzi (Russell) and Mark Gara (Cynthia). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
