He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Wegener and Edith J. Wegener (Hanson); his former wife Janelle Wegener (Eddy); and his brother Carl Wegener (Carol). He is survived by: his wife Ann M. Wegener (Wissler); his children, James'Jamie'P. Wegener (Janet), Janelle Dengate (Frank), Daniel Pease (Jessica) and Jeanette Koch (Richard); his grandchildren, Shaun Wegener, Tiffany Mehrlich (David), Ryleigh Wegener, Rhianne Wegener, Alexander Koch and Molly Dengate; his great grandchildren, Emerley Pease and Shirley Mehrlich; and his siblings, Elaine Fees (Ronald) and Erwin Wegener (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church.
