He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Garito and Mae Garito (Milliron); his son Vincent Garito; his stepmother Fannie Garito; his siblings, Sarah Brunner, Joseph Garito (late Ann), Jack Garito, Lillian Shugarts, Jeannette Ogden and Dominic Garito (late Marie); and his sister-in-law Lillian Richer (late Joe).
He is survived by: his wife Anita C. Gareau; his children, Douglas Garito (Sharon), Cathi Garito and Jason Henry (Kiyomi); his daughter-in-law Jeanne Garito; his grandchildren, Tony Garito (Laura), Kasey Garito-Reighley (Todd), Michael Garito (Tiffany), Drew Garito, Margaret Garito-Hanna (Tom), Shota Henry and Anna Henry; his great grandchildren, Liam, Roan, Madelyn, Vincent, Lillian and Emelia; his sisters, Mary Shaw (late Ted) and Louise Murray; and his sisters-in-law, Gertrude Hamilton (Rene), Pauline Gareau, Florence Lalonde (Michel) and Denise Gareau (late Victor). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
