Helen Elizabeth Russell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Russell of Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Purnal Taylor and Helen Taylor (Pattinson); her husband Robert R.'Dick'Russell; her children, Timothy R. Russell (Simone), Carolyn Russell and John T. Russell; and her siblings, David P. Taylor and Barbara Arseneau (late Raymond).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Lewis (Joseph) and Barbara Acee; and her grandchildren, Michelle Lewis, Joseph R. Lewis, Nicole Wasula and Amanda Acee. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home (2215 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Otto Redanz Funeral Home and Niagara County Cremation Care (2215 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at the Riverdale Cemetery (5605 Old Lewiston Rd, Lewiston, NY 14092).
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice.
