He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaspare Porto and Frances Porto (Corsaro); his wife Josephine Porto (Bartolomei); and his siblings, James Porto (late Regina), Nancy Albee (late Lawrence), Margaret Vaccarella (late James), Catherine Martinez (late Frank), Jeanne Porto and Gloria Lariccia (late Dominic).
He is survived by: his children, Damita DeBowes (late Jim) and Joseph Porto (Nancy); his grandchildren, James DeBowes (Gia), Angelica Porto, Kaleigh DeBowes and Romeo Porto (Sophia); his sister Georgina Clark (Al); his stepsons, Edward Carlo (Claudine) and Peter Carlo (Janine); his stepgrandchildren, Nicholas Carlo, Vincent Carlo, Peter Carlo Jr., Dominic Carlo and Gabby Carlo; his close friend Gary Bongiovanni; and his former wife Barbara Porto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
