He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Hilson and Idle Hilson (Williams); and his sibling Ottis Williams. He is survived by: his wife Luevina Hilson (McBride); his children, Gene Hilson, James Hilson, Kenneth Hilson, Terry Hilson (Juanita), Regina Hilson, Tyrone Hilson (Michelle) and John Hilson (Misty); and his brother Robert Hilson. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
