She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Abegglen and Stella Abegglen (Stettner); her husband Horace Mitchell; her children, Richard Mitchell (Janet), Dennis Mitchell (Marianne), Margaret Zambito (Robert), Patricia Bixby (George) and Robert Mitchell (Tess); and her brother Jack Abegglen. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
