She is survived by: her children, Venetia Alston (Tyrone), Byron Smith (Michelle) and Angela Smith; her son-in-law Pernell Rogers; her grandchildren, Benjamin Smith, Knakitya Griffin, Nathaniel Smith, TiAndra Griffin, Terell Smith (Kristen), Neshara Garrett, Victor Griffin, Jr., Vincent Griffin, Jayla Collins-Faison (Taj'lik), Justin Griffin, Cameron Smith and Neshiah Alston; her great grandchildren, Jenasys, Jada, Jordan, Seraea, Imani, Benjamin, Jr., Ava, Rynae, Zoe, Calvin and Greyson; her great great grandchild Aniyah; and her siblings, Vera Booker (Booker T.), Earnestine Henley (late Lawrence), Maggie Welch (Bobby), Claudine Chatman (Levi), John Jenkins (Mary), Levon'Percy' Jenkins (Cynthia), Margaret'Greta' Barclay (Wallace) and Kenneth Jenkins (Deborah). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and special friends.
