She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Dustin and Harriet Dustin (Zenker); her husband James; and her grandchild Raien Truex. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Bishop (Diane), Jodi Truex and Jesse Bishop (Jane); her grandchildren, Adam Bishop, Jeffrey Bishop, Jace Bishop, Danielle Wilson (Steven), Alex DePadre, Justin DePadre, Nicholas D and Aloise Jr.; her sisters, Margaret Dustin and Elaine Trayer; and her pet Panda. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Dorothy's honor may be sent to a charity of one's choice.
